请问你是几岁开始接触橄榄球？为什么开始打橄榄球？💭How old are you getting into football? Why did you start playing football?
6岁时我就开始打“全装备橄榄球（tackle football）”了。我出身运动世家，父母都是运动员，深谙体育运动在家庭教育中的价值。从小我体型就比较大，所以自然而然就去打橄榄球了。而且橄榄球可以说是美国最流行的运动了，几乎每个家庭里的孩子从小就开始接触和玩儿橄榄球了，完全是一种生活习惯了。💭I was 6 years old when I started playing tackle football. I started playing football because both of my parents were athletes growing up and they knew the value of what sports can teach children. I was always a very big kid, so naturally football just made sense. Also because it is a very popular sport in the USA so a lot of kids play football when they are young.
橄榄球这项运动带给了你什么改变？💭What changes did the sport bring to you?
橄榄球给我的最大的改变，莫过于教会了我“如何与他人相处”。没错，橄榄球能让一个人性格变得坚韧不屈，逐渐培养领导能力，教人知责任、懂担当，但最最重要的就是“团队精神”——如何与别人更好地沟通与协作。从人生的角度而言，我认为这是橄榄球教给我们最有价值的一课，让我们每天生活的每个方面都能受益于此。💭I would say the biggest change that football had on me was the ability to work with other people. Football teaches you how to be tough, be a leader, be accountable, and most importantly it teaches you teamwork, how to work well with others. I think in life that is an extremely valuable lesson and can carry over to everyday life.
在美国上体育课是怎样的？体育在教育里面是怎样的结合？💭What is the physical education class in the United States? What is the combination of sports in education?
美国体育课是隔天一上，在课上你可以接触到各种体育项目，从田径、羽毛球、篮球，到棒球、橄榄球甚至举重。每年我们也会有体育测验，比如长跑、引体向上、仰卧起坐以及柔韧性测试。总而言之，体育课一直都是我的最爱之一。💭Physical education classes in the USA is usually every other day. You learn and play every sport in physical education. We do everything from badminton, basketball, baseball, weight lifting, dodge ball, football, and track and field to give some examples. Also, we have tests every year like running the mile, pull ups, sit ups and flexibility. P.E. (physical education) was always one of my favorite classes.

橄榄球这项运动，是一项真正必须依靠团队的运动。一名球员能力再出色，也不可能凭借一己之力收割比赛胜过。想要赢球，队友之间必须充分信赖，齐心协力。橄榄球真的是一项伟大的运动，不管你是职业运动员，还是从事其他职业的业余爱好者，都能从中得到太多有价值、受用一生的收获。场上的硬碰硬的拼抢与冲撞，仅仅是很多人看到的它的一面罢了。💭I 100% recommend Chinese children to play football. Football is one really the only sport where you must really work as a team. One player cannot win alone and must rely on each other to achieve victory. It teaches so many life lessons that are so valuable regardless if you are a professional athlete or a businessman. Not only that, it is great exercise and teaches toughness.
