2012年倫敦奧運會是我國際裁判生涯的里程碑，我作為香港歷史上首名體操裁判，執法奧運會競技體操比賽，這不單是個人的榮譽，更是香港人和香港體操的榮譽。我在倫敦奧運會的十七天工作，到現在還歷歷在目。
我背負了香港體操六十年眾人的勞力，包括我過去體操訓練及裁判老師們的教導，尤其是我的啟蒙老師李漢添老師，他在我十五歲時啟發我對體操的興趣，以及做人正直的品格，為我後來成為一名公正的體操裁判打下基礎。後來我在裁判班遇上的胡發彰老師和何幸光老師，他們對體操裁判及周邊的專業知識，令我做好準備，以優秀的成績考上國際裁判資格。我在首次國際大賽遇上的台灣老師們，尤其是奧運會裁判陳銘堯老師，令我在專業知識和實務領域上，急速提升，從而成為一名奧運會裁判，後來更創造奇蹟，成為世界前二十五位、亞洲僅有三位的國際一級裁判。
縱使在過去至今，由於香港體育制度的落後，我在擔任裁判工作遇到了不少問題，承受了不了壓力和不公平的情況，我都沉著應對，默默承受，並積極面對，充實自己。後來更毅然辭去所有工作，負笈俄羅斯索契留學，向俄羅斯等體育強國學習。直到現在，我仍海闊天空，一往無前!
The 2012 London Olympics is a milestone in my career as an international gymnastics judge. As the first ever Hong Kong gymnastics judge to judge the Olympic artistic gymnastics competition. This is not only a personal honor, but also an honor for Hong Kong people and Hong Kong gymnastics. I still vividly remember this 17 working days in the the London Olympics.
I have been burdened with the hard work of everyone in Hong Kong Gymnastics for 60 years, including my teachers of gymnastics training and the gymnastics judging, especially my enlightenment teacher, Mr. LEE Hon Tim, who inspired my interest in gymnastics when I was fifteen years old, and his integrity. His character laid the foundation for me to become an impartial gymnastics judge. Later, I met Prof. Wu Faat Cheung (Retired professor of Beijing Sports University) and Prof. He Xing Guang (Retired professor of GuangZhou Sports University) in the local men's artistic gymnastics judges' course. Their professional knowledge of gymnastics judging and related areas prepared me for the qualifications of international judge brevet with excellent results. The Taiwanese teachers I met in the 2010 GuangZhou Asian Games (my first major international event), especially the Olympic gymnastics judge Chen Ming-Yao, made me a rapid development in professional knowledge and practice, and became an Olympic gymnastics judge. Just after my first Olympics Gamer, I made miracles and became the top 25 judges in the world, and one of the only three category one men's artistic gymnastics judges in Asia.
Even in the past, due to the backwardness of Hong Kong's sports system, I have encountered and suffered from many problems as an unique gymnastics judge. I can't bear the pressure and unfair situations. I have dealt with it calmly and silently, and faced it positively to enrich myself. Later, I absolutely quit all my jobs in Hong Kong and devoted to study in the Olympic University in Sochi, Russian Federation, to learn the best sport management knowledge and sport system and culture from Russia and other leading sports countries. Until now, I am working to achieve my dream and I am always on my way toward the future!
